Episode (almost) entirely shot with the Sony RX100 VI. So it may sounds and looks different.Unboxing (not shot with the RX100). He used it for about a week and it is by far the best point and shoot camera for stills and videos. But is it worth $1,200? Event in a street, lots of young people with light blue shirts. The camera has great specs, 4k, slow motion. 240 fps helicopter flights. Impressive from a P&S. He also wants to try the new lens: 24 to 200mm. Comparison with the mark V. Cinematography : close ups, for intimacy. Medium : almost full body. then Wide to show the context, where you are. Until now to achieve that Casey used to have a DSLR and a wide angle and needed to switch lens for the longs shots, close ups... The $1,200 question is: can this compact camera replace those DSLR and 2 lenses? What can we get for $1,200. A Canon 80D + 15-55 + 75-300 lens and lots of craps (filters, tripod, remote) for less than $1,200. The compactness can be useful, the rx100vi fits in a side pocket. Favorite: you can charge it with a regular micro-usb cable. Every camera should have that. Least favorite: no microphone jack input and no place to mount it. It will always limit its capabilities.
