In his apartment he explains that he really likes the backlit picture of Francine someone sent to them, he doesn't know who sent it but he really likes it. Boosted board with lots of dirt under. Lots of wind. Meeting in a place looking like in Reservoir Dogs. CNN National turner sales event. Casey is the surprise. He is there to give a talk. Back in the studio with Canon and Sony cameras. He has received lots of questions about the camera he is using in the last episodes. Everything is in 4K now. The episodes of the daily vlog were shot with the big Canon 80D. These last weeks he has been using a Sony A6500 and the studio formal shots are made with a Sony A7s and A7R mark II. The main reason he switched from Canon to Sony is 4K. Lots of other vloggers shoots with the big guy, the A7S, but the image of the A6500 is almost indistinguishable when shooting in good lighting condition. The A7S is better in low-light condition. He now prefers the Sony cameras with 2 major exceptions: the Canon native color profile is better and the front facing screen. On the Sony's you are almost shooting blind every time. This is why he is talking about this today. Having to front facing screen means you often shoot thinking you use a wide angle shot and then you realize that what you have recorded is only a close-up shot of your nose. He has been thinking about it for a while, he does not want to attach a bulky external monitor, but he thinks he may have a solution. He uses a white ink pen to draw a white line on the top of the lens to better see where the zoom is positioned. He then tries to jump the stairs between his gear room and the floor of the studio on the fat wheel hoverboard. He is committed to it but fails. 2 friends: Kyle and Jack in the background laugh at him. Kyle is the inventor of this hoverboard. They try again, with more speed and a helmet. On the fourth time Kyle succeeds. The reason they are here today is because he ordered a new Onewheel+ and they personally deliver it to Casey. He explains that the are both engineers and they had a crazy idea and they just did it, Casey loves that. He leaves the studio on the hoverboard with a helmet and lights. Home Casey is cooking.
