He was in hospital with another guy who tried to suicide himself, he was attached to his bed, screaming. There were police officers, it was horrible. When he was able to go out of the hospital, Candice drove him to the house in Connecticut and stayed with him during weeks until he was able to move again in a wheelchair. Casey wants to talk about drones. He makes a little prop. Drone 1 -3 were Parrots bebop, then 4 5 6 dji phantoms, and now he bought a new phantom 4 which is number 7. He loves aerial cinematography but sometimes it feels very good, and sometimes just gratuitous aerial shots. It takes time. It helps to diversify shoots, give a context to a scene, and they also are fun to fly... so you end up shooting a lot, and you feel like you have to use all that footage and it can get boring fast. He updates the firmware of his new drone before he can drive it. Yes it is his 7th drone, people tend to give him a hard time because he breaks things. There was a time he was able to have only one camera. He kept it in a protective padded case in hi s backpack. Because it was in his backpack he never used it and missed a lot of shots. Having his gear ready all the time, unprotected is the best way to be the most effective. Sometimes it means he breaks one. But it is worth it. Drones are so fun to fly.
