A guy listening to loud rap music in front of the elevator of Casey's studio. 5am morning run as the city is still asleep. Today will be a very long day. Boosted board ride to the studio. Very NYC scene: products delivered from the back of a yellow taxi. Juice press stop. Busy means cool. Casey shows his firsts gray hair. The last couple of months have been very stressful. Yesterday he uploaded nothing: phone and meeting day. He chose to post nothing more than some boring stuff. He felt depressed. A 10pm he was at the gym, listening (podcast) to a guy named Dan Dan Aryalie who is a behavioral economist, he talks about why we work. We work because we want to, not because we have to. It made Casey's think about his youtube channel. About all the things he doesn't do in life because he is so focused on his work. He compares work to climbing a mountain. He shows a picture of him and Graham on top of the Aconcagua, 23,000 feet above sea level. Why do we climb mountains for the same reason that we work because we have the desire to do something, to complete something. The audio sound terrible, he apologizes for that, it is a switch on his Shure microphone, set to +20dB instead of -10dB. He glues it so it won't happen again. Time to open the GoPro Karma box with a Hero5 black on it. He only takes the stabilizer and attaches it on his chest before going to the street on his boosted board. Long scenes of him on the BB between the cars, motorcycles. A car almost bumped into him. He continues to shoot with the GoPro, the sound quality is worse than usual but not that bad. E "Experience" Casey is part of the panel. Panel about marketing, social networks... very targeted to people that work in the industry, he never interacts with this kind of people. Not enough battery on the BB to come back to the studio so he steals juice in a plug in the street. 10 minutes later he leaves and manage to come back home. Later at night he leaves the apartment to go to JFK airport. The American Airline security guy at the airport recognizes him, no selfies allowed but Casey suggests that he takes a screenshot of tomorrow's vlog. Security with his drone. No problem. Shower at the airport. Security took so long that he almost has no time to shower. Skateboard to try to board on time. He is disappointed that he had no time to eat the free snacks of the lounge. He is late, 2 minutes later he won't have been able to board. 6 hours flights, work, eat dinner and sleep at least 2 hours. Landing in Los Angeles. Rental car at 1am (4am in NYC). He is tired. Hotel room. 23 hours since he started the vlog, "long day" achievement unlocked.
