Candice misses Casey. Morning run, feels like noon. Heat warning advisory. No boosted board, he feels like abandonned on a desert island without a boat. Walking is the most inefficient means of getting around the city. Juice. Back in the studio. Ipad with screen broken. A wound on the hand inflicted by his drone iPad. He will try to fix it. He forgot the camera on when leaving the studio. He asks a woman in the street how long before it rains. He has 2 minutes to get to the Apple store. There he says still no rain, but we hear the thunder. In the Apple store: mission failed. Fixing the screen will be expensive, the waiting line was too long... so back to the studio. Emergency alert on his phone. Flash flood. Smoothie stop then full speed to the studio to take waterproof video gear and flip flops to shoot under the coming rain. Plastic bag on the shoulders. Nothing really exciting, just rain. Back in the studio, drying his shirt with a paint thermal cleaner. Impromptu mail time. Redken towel. Communiqué sweat shirt... perfect for not being wet and cold. The weather finally changes for the worst. Thunder and rain. Candice picks him with the car. A "scary" lightning. (The thunder sound is probably added in post by Casey). Candice is blocking an intersection with the car.
