Then breaking news, the building on fire. He grabbed his bag and camera, went out. He recorded. An absolute terror. Plane parts along the streets. A EMT guy throwing sheets to cover the bodies. Firemen rushing in the world trade center. He saw one of the tower fall. It looked like CGI. It's haunting him since. It's one of the top three most terrifying things he had in life (the two others are when his kids were born). Footage from this day. He was glad to be there. He is talking about that because he has a meeting with Condé Nast and the office is in the news World Trade Center building. He takes his bike there. He tries a suit and pajamas for Vogue magazine... for the MET Gala tomorrow. He forgot his family was in town. He met them quickly in a restaurant.
