He is going to surf in Muizenberg. His flight is tonight so he still has a little bit of time. It is freezing cold and he is a terrible surfer. He meets his friend Dan. They will rent the surf boards. Stop to buy food, fill the gas tank. Terrible odor in the car. The ride there is amazing. The windshield is so dirty that Casey almost can't shoot through it. They stop to clean it. Drone views from the ride there. It looks sharky. What does that mean. Dan is joking about what that means. Like Instagram with a sharky filter. Lots of surfers. More chance that they eat somebody else. You can tape anti shark stickers. Lots of warnings on how to behave. Black shark flag. Dan was not messing with Casey, it is real. Gopro and drone views. Lots of surfers there. After the surf session, back in the car, some dudes ask for money. They barely understand what they said, probably too much drugs. Scary. Don't do drugs. Ride back home. 45 minutes before he has to leave. Not bummed to go back to NYC, but bummed to leave Candice and Francine there. It will be the longest time without seeing Francine. He says bye to Francine and Candice's mom. Candice drives him to the airport. It is raining. Candice is sad that he is leaving. Airport check-in and boarding.
