In the street, dangerous situation: a guy on a ladder installed on a scaffolding. He paints the letters of a Restaurant. Morning running but Nev is late. 5.4 miles. Lots of Snapchat in the street. Back home, Nev is in the bedroom, Candice is in pajamas in her bed cuddling... Gigi the poodle. Super Bowl Sunday. He explains what Super Bowl is to non American people. But the first half of today, they will look for apartments. Francine is hungry. In a restaurant he explains that they are looking for a more quiet/boring place to live. Francine needs a nap. Then they leave to a superbowl party. Lots of childs there. At night lots of noise in the street. A situation with 4 people shouting at a guy in a car. In fact a late night rap battle. Around midnight, everybody is asleep. He has to record in the closet not to wake them up. He comes back with a little baby chair so he can seat more comfortably. He explains that he has talked a lot about moving to Los Angeles then they went there for 2 weeks for Christmas, after those two weeks, for a lots of reason now he can't move there. He has to stay in New York City. So they are looking for a new apartment in NYC. Today they were looking for flats and he had an epiphany. He makes a whiteboard from a huge children book and a piece of paper: Living situation happiness matrix. He put on sheet of paper with the reason of thinking leaving NYC is a good idea: noisy, dirty, dangerous, claustrophobic, lack of nature, nowhere to push a stroller, too chaotic for child rearing. Then a second piece of paper with the theoretical list of why Los Angeles would be a good city to assert these problems: quieter, fresh air, water, open space, lots of places to push the stroller, peaceful environment fold child rearing, bright. Theoretical is the key. Third piece of paper witth a list of the current conflicts he has with his current living situation: busy street, no playground, no trees or grass, loft living not ideal for babies, nowhere to push the stroller. There is a strong correlation between his living place and what he thinks are the problems of living in NYC at large. So fourth sheet of paper: New apartment they have seen: quiet, fresh air, water, open spaces, natural light, more like a house than a loft, tranquil neighborhood, tons of places to push a stroller. LA is theoretical, the new apartment in NYC is practical, this is a more productive solution. They just need to move, he has to tell it to Candice.
