He forgot his laptop charger in New York City, he wasn't able to finish his edit last night. The whole weekend seems terrible. Back at the house he opens the charger box and charges his laptop. Trip back to the city. Francine still does not feel very good but that manageable. In the car she does not want to go back in her seat. Casey has made a phone holder so she can watch cartoons during the trip. Back home. He goes on the roof before it is completely night. Amazing sky, he wants to shoot timelapses and use the drone. He explains that yesterday there was a lens cap on the lens so maybe the picture will be a lot better now. Start of the drone, first try: it crashes immediately. Second try is ok. Then he losses the connection with the drone. It is stuck in the air, it is above him then the drone moves and is really next to him but he can't reach it because he is on a roof. Casey tries many times to connect back but no luck. 2 options, when the batteries will be empty it will come back to land where he took off... or it will deplete the batteries all the way and crash on the alley down below. No people under, no problem. Slow painfull death. 30 minutes of flight, the drone is still in the air, will it slowly go down or will it crash. He compares the situation to Jack and Rose after the Titanic sank. They won't be able to be together anymore. Then the drone is going down. Graceful landing. Casey explains that cameras and gear are only here to help the film makers to tell their story in a better way, not to prevent it. He knows where the drone is but has no idea how to go there. He takes the car back to the garage and comes back on his boosted board. Not a good idea to try to recover the drone at night. During the day being on rooftops is already not a good idea, imagine at night... tomorrow he will try.
