A guy sleeping on the floor (before or after the marathon). 5:30am marathon day. He is walking to the starting line. Stop at a 24 hours/24 shop to buy water and something to hold his hairs. Staten Island ferry. Lots of people waiting. Boat trip to Staten Island. Statue of the Liberty. Now, bus. Lots of buses. Security check. He is there one hour and a half before the start. Not glamour side : portable potties. Warming up. His bag is waiting for him on the finish line. Nev is there, strong ready. At least one of them. They walk behind military men until the starting line. Now it is time for him to remove his underwear. He has made special incisions so he can remove them without removing his shorts. NEv is ready. Casey records the firsts miles. He is too fast. 3 miles OK. Mile 4, sort of ok. 5, 6, ok. 9 totaly confident. A fan saying Hi Casey with a pizza pie sign. Mile 10, cruise control, he feels ok. 13.1, halfway. 16 he feels good now but a minute ago he was not feeling great. Quick stop at the medical tent to take salt.
